There are many things to be thankful for around the holiday season. As colder temperatures set in, staying cozy in a heated home and taking a hot shower is nice. Plumbers provide essential services during the year to ensure people have access to the amenities that make life easier.
While the holidays are a joyous time to enjoy family and festivities, for us at KB Plumbing, it’s also a time to reflect. December signals the beginning of the busy holiday season and reminds us to be grateful.
Ben and Kari have always shared the same core value that family comes first. They are very close with their families and hold them near and dear in their hearts. When they decided to open KB Plumbing, they were thinking of a tagline that stood out; however, they needed something to click. They knew they wanted to have a family business and treat their customers as if they were part of their family. They kept returning to their core values and came up with “Providing quality service through traditional values.” They want to make sure every customer is satisfied with the work completed, and they do so by treating them like family. They run their business by being kind, informative, honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
As we all know, the holidays can be chaotic. However, Ben and Kari continue to have a family and business balance. They continue to carry on all of their family traditions by decorating gingerbread houses, baking cookies, making homemade pierogies on Christmas Eve, and wearing pj’s while going on a scavenger hunt to look at Christmas lights.
Even though they have a lot going on in their family life, they continue to provide quality service to their plumbing family. They know plumbing emergencies arise and understand that customers trust us to go into their homes and fix their issues. They appreciate the business and try to pay it forward as much as possible.
During the holidays, the KB family selects a few angel tree recipients. Ben and Kari take their kids shopping and allow them to do all the shopping for the angel tree. It will enable the kids to learn at an early age that it is always important to give to the less fortunate as much as possible. It brings a sense of joy to them when they find that perfect gift. It’s exciting to see their face light up when they are franticly searching in the store for the items on their wish list, and they spy it from across the store.
The smiles, the excitement, and the joy would not be possible if they didn’t have wonderful customers and a plumbing family. Not only are we thankful for our customers, but we are thankful for spreading the word to others. It brings us joy when we go into a customer’s house and they say they got our name and number from a neighbor who was very pleased with our service.
